Furniture and Whitegoods
AVAILABLE SUNDAY 10th AUG 12noon till 3pm
How it works.
If you have been affected by the floods, then we would like to help you re-furnish your home, free of charge. Use the form here to request a time slot on Sunday between 12noon and 3pm to collect an item from our depot in Taree.
Can furniture be reserved?
Unfortunately no. What is photographed here on the website is available for collection on Sunday the 3rd, and will be distributed on a 'first come, first served' basis.
What if I'm not flood-affected?
If items haven't been taken within two weeks of being in the depot, they will be made available for sale for $50. All money raised will go towards helping flood-affected families. Register your interest using the form below.
Can I donate furniture?
Yes. Furniture that is good quality and not damaged will be gratefully accepted and made available to those in need.
Where is the Depot?
When you use the form to request a time-slot, you will receive a reply from the administrator confirming your time and providing you with the depot address. In this way, we help make sure all furniture goes to those genuinely in need.
What if I need help with Transportation?
We can't guarantee that we can arrange transport, so it is best if you arrange a trailer, ute or van. If you advise us that you need help in advance, we'll do our best to arrange some volunteers to assist you with transportation.
What if I miss out on an item?
Over the next three months we have much more high quality furniture coming, thanks to the team at Transition Angels. Keep checking back to this website weekly for updated photographs.
